Team Bios

Fred Black is a finish carpenter with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He grew up in a small town in Arizona, where he learned the value of hard work from his father, a mechanic. Fred’s passion for building began at a young age, when he would help his father work on old cars. He was fascinated by the process of taking something apart and putting it back together, and he loved the feeling of accomplishment that came from seeing a project through to completion.

At the age of 14, Fred moved to Canada to work at a mill making posts for Anheuser-Busch. He quickly learned the art of woodworking, and he took pride in his work. After two years at the mill, Fred moved back to Arizona to pursue a career in construction. He started out framing houses, and he soon realized that he had a natural talent for the trade.

Fred has worked on a variety of projects throughout his career, from small remodels to large commercial builds. He is skilled in all aspects of finish carpentry, from installing doors and baseboards to building custom cabinets and closets. Fred is also a certified carpenter, and he is familiar with all of the latest building codes.
